I was starting to get concerned that I wouldn’t find a good poster design. All the posters that I had created so far were too cramped, and had too much happening in them. I decided to re-research more posters when I came across two infographics.

This is the first. I loved this idea. Although the poster is quite full, the text is spaced out enough that it is easy enough to read, and the position of the planets across the page makes it easy on the eye. The use of arrows also helps to clarify to the audience where exactly to read to, and the contrast of the bright graphics against the black background of space is exactly what I’m looking for. Overall, I like the design of this poster, and I will consider this design when creating my own infographics.

Following on from this vein, I also found this infographic.

The use of the child-like graphics and bright colours are what drew my attention to this poster. This is again something that we would like to consider thinking about when we are creating out own posters.
